JACQUELINE BENNETT
PSYCHOLOGIST

Jacqui has a unique combination of skills and experience as a Psychologist, Careers Counsellor and Teacher. She has been a practising Psychologist for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including: primary and secondary schools, universities and corporations. Jacqui is passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults, supporting them to achieve their best, and live up to their own expectations.

She uses a compassionate, empathetic and inquiring approach to discover what may be holding children and young adults back from reaching their potential and finding happiness and fulfilment. What sets Jacqui apart in her profession, is that she has supported children from Kindergarten throughout their entire educational journey, all the way through to university PhD candidates.
Jacqui has worked with children, and their families, during major life transitions – such as transition to school, transition to high school and transition from school to higher education and/or the work place. Jacqui is a qualified teacher, giving her the distinctive perspective of being able to look at school concerns from all sides – the teacher, the student and the parent. She works collaboratively with everyone to support a young person to flourish within his or her environment.

Jacqui is fully registered Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and is eligible to provide specialist psychological services with Medicare.
