Helen Tsamoulos has been facilitating assessments and counselling interventions (individual and group) as a psychologist for 24 years. During this time, she has worked as a Neurometrician/Psychologist in a multidisciplinary Paediatric Clinic, a School Counsellor, Educational consultant, University educator and in Private Practice.

 

Helen’s primary focus currently is assessment and diagnosis of learning, psychological, and developmental profiles including ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Anxiety and Learning Profiles.

 

Helen works with children, adolescents, and families to identify areas of strength and need in order to guide intervention. These interventions are aimed at remediating any areas of need and enhancing areas identified as strengths and focusing on a growth mindset. Helen works in a multidisciplinary and holistic capacity in collaboration with schools and other allied health professionals to ensure that best outcomes for individuals and families are attained.

 

Areas of assessment include anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as learning difficulties (Specific Learning Disorders) and gifted presentations. Helen has also worked in a training/supervision capacity to assist other psychologists and as a presenter at schools and other organisations.
